Halton Hills, Ontario – Halton Healthcare is thrilled to announce an incredibly generous donation of 105 acres of land approximately appraised at $45 million from the Walker Wood family to help meet the future healthcare needs of its communities. The family donated the farm that was their home for many years to Halton Healthcare in memory of Neil Cameron Walker Wood, who passed away in 2021.

Neil Walker Wood’s wife, Susan, says, "My husband, Neil, and I have made the Walker Wood Farm in Georgetown our home for over 40 years. The farm has been the centre of our family during that time, a beautiful space where we have created many wonderful memories. Neil and I have been incredibly fortunate in our lives and Canada has provided many opportunities to help create our family's success. We have always held a strong belief in giving back to our community and it provides our family immense pleasure to donate this land in memory of my late husband.
