Your COVID-19 Test Appointment

  • Please come to the COVID-19 Testing Centre at your scheduled time with your health card.
  • You will be registered, assessed, tested and counselled about the next steps.

COVID-19 Test Results

  • Your test results may be delayed.
  • There is currently a significant backlog of COVID-19 tests at provincial labs which is impacting the turnaround time for tests completed at our hospital testing centres.
  • COVID-19 test results are posted to the provincial website at COVID19.ontario.ca after tests are processed. Unfortunately, the timeliness of results coming from a provincial lab is beyond our control.
  • Halton Region Public Health will contact individuals with positive results.

Individuals who are not able to look up their results online (have an old red & white health card, have an expired health card, are from out of province) can call 905-203-7963 after five (5) days to see if their results are available. All other individuals are asked to continue checking the provincial website.
