Diabetes Program

OTMHMDHGH

The Halton Diabetes Program provides information, counselling, and support for adults with diabetes/prediabetes and their families in the communities of Burlington, Georgetown, Milton and Oakville.

Our staff will work with you to make a plan to help you live successfully with diabetes and learn to make healthy choices about food, activity and medication. Our team of specialized diabetes educators includes nurses, dietitians, and social workers will work with you and your doctor to provide information, suggestions and support.

Exercise

Exercise is very important in helping you to manage your diabetes. Here are a few instructional videos of some simple exercises that you can do in your own home:
