Become a Patient & Family Advisor

Patient & Family Advisors partner with us to help shape the patient experience at Halton Healthcare.

The Patient & Family Advisor (PFA) is a person who has had a recent experience (within 5 years) of being a patient or family member of a patient and is collaborating with senior leadership, board members, staff and physicians to provide direct input into policies, programs and practices which affect patient care and services.

Patient & Family Advisors work closely with Quality & Patient Relations, the Patient & Family Advisory Council and committees/groups in which they participate.

How can you apply?

Halton Healthcare invites patients, family members and/or caregivers of patients to complete the application to become a Patient & Family Advisor.

All applications will be screened. We cannot guarantee that every applicant will obtain an interview or placement. Those applicants most suitable for our current opportunities will be contacted. Patient Family Advisor selections will be made to ensure a diverse representation of the communities we serve.
