The Georgetown Hospital Volunteer Association (GHVA) was originally formed in 1958 and re-established in 2006 when Georgetown Hospital (GH) was transferred to Halton Healthcare Services. The GHVA has a mission to provide care, comfort and service to the patients, visitors, family and staff of the Georgetown Hospital and to raise funds for the betterment of the GH.

The GHVA is a registered charity and has numerous fundraising initiatives, noted below. Funds raised are donated to the GH and used to purchase new equipment.

Trinkets & Treats Gift Shop - Visitors and patients will find an excellent selection of giftware, cards, flowers, baby clothes, toiletries, candles, clothing and plush toys in the Gift Shop. Located by the main entrance.
Gift Shop Hours: *
Mon to Fri: 9:30 am until 8:00pm
Sat/Sun: 2:00-4:00 pm and 6:00 to 8:00 pm.

HELPP Lottery – Break open tickets available for sale at Delrex Variety (Georgetown Marketplace)

Knitting – A very talented group of knitters keeps the Gift Shop stocked with beautiful hand knits including baby outfits, blankets, scarves and slippers. Donations of wool are welcome.
