“This year the Milton District Hospital Auxiliary raised funds through revenue generated from the gift shop and vendor program, 50/50 draw, Annual Strawberry Fair event and more. Our dedicated volunteers were instrumental in making all of it happen,” says Bonna Richmond, MDHA President. “A sincere thanks to our sponsors, our supporters and our community for all they do in support of our hospital.”  

“I am honoured to be part of the MDHA’s AGM. Every one of our volunteers has done such an impressive job supporting the hospital – they help our patients, families and staff in so many ways,” notes Janet Skupsky, Interim Chief Operating Officer at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital (formerly Chief Operating Officer of Milton District Hospital). “This year’s cheque for $110,000 demonstrates the unwavering commitment and generosity of all of our volunteers.”

“We are very fortunate to have such dedicated volunteers,” adds Monica Bettazzoni, who earlier this year was announced Interim Chief Operating Officer, Milton District Hospital and Georgetown Hospital. “Our Auxiliary has a long history of giving and caring in support of our patients, their families, physicians and staff.”
