Sandy Saggar

Sandy Saggar joined Halton Healthcare in July 2014 as Chief Information Officer. Sandy comes to us with a diverse background including both private and public sector experience. He has held previous leadership positions across many industries including the financial, automotive, retail, government and healthcare sectors.

Most recently, Sandy was Interim Chief Information Officer for North York General Hospital (NYGH). In this role he was responsible for overseeing the Information Technology, Clinical Informatics and Biomedical Engineering portfolios. During his time at NYGH, he successfully led several programs and initiatives designed to improve performance and integrate patient and family experiences across complex clinical and administrative environments.

His focus includes evolving the Information Management and Information Technology Strategy and improving client services across the organization. He holds a Bachelor of Science and Masters of Business Administration. Sandy has a high commitment in the support of quality, safe and cost effective patient care.
