Executive Compensation

The Government of Ontario’s Broader Public Sector Executive Compensation Act requires all hospitals and other designated broader public sector organizations develop an executive compensation plan for public feedback and government approval. The provincial government has a goal to create a framework to provide greater transparency, consistency and accountability across broader public sector executive compensation programs.

Halton Healthcare’s proposed Executive Compensation Plan meets the requirements of the government and has been approved by the Halton Healthcare Board of Directors. The Plan includes a clear Compensation Philosophy, a comparative analysis and proposed framework.

As part of the Government Regulations, all Ontario broader public sector employers are required to conduct public consultation on their proposed plan.

The Halton Healthcare proposed Executive Compensation Plan will be posted on the public website for 30 days. Feedback can be provided using the feedback form below. Public feedback will be accepted from March 1-30, 2018. A summary of public feedback will be included in the final submission of the plan to the government. Following Ministry and Board of Directors approval, the final executive compensation plan will be posted on the Halton Healthcare website.

If you are providing feedback on behalf of a group or an organization please include the organization/group name. Anonymous feedback will not be considered.
