New OTMH recognized for project excellence

Halton Healthcare’s new Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital (OTMH) project has been named the gold infrastructure award winner for the 2016 National Awards for Innovation and Excellence in Public-Private Partnerships from the Canadian Council for Public-Private Partnerships (CCPPP). Gold is the highest level awarded.

The award which recognizes the partnerships that came together in the planning, design and construction of the new OTMH, was presented at the 24th Annual CCPPP National Conference.

The Awards Panel took particular note of how the new hospital will act as a core economic stimulant and centre for medical excellence as an “anchor tenant” for development in north Oakville. Panelists were particularly impressed with the design and technology innovations in addition to the community input that contributed to the success of the project.

Halton Healthcare is extremely proud of the new Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital and honoured by this award. It is a testament to the hard work and dedication of all those who were involved in this incredibly successful project.
