Milton District Hospital Auxiliary (MDHA)

The Milton District Hospital Auxiliary (MDHA) was founded in 1959. The mission of the Auxiliary is to assist and complement the community healthcare and facilities provided by the Milton District Hospital. This is achieved by volunteer services wherever applicable and required, and by fundraising activities.

The Auxiliary is a registered charity and has numerous fundraising initiatives. The funds raised are donated to the Milton District Hospital and used to purchase new equipment.

How We Raise Money For The Hospital

Charitable Donations–The MDHA accepts charitable donations, including in memoriam. Our local funeral homes in Milton have donation cards for this purpose. Receipts will be issued for all donations and a letter to the family recognizing your contribution will be sent for a memoriam.

Gift Shop–Visitors and patients will find an excellent selection of giftware, cards, flowers, baby clothes, toiletries, candles, clothing and plush toys in the Gift Shop. The Gift Shop is open Monday to Friday 9:00 am until 7:00 pm and from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm on weekends. The Gift Shop is located on the main floor of the Hospital in the North Wing. There is something for everyone!

Raffles–Raffles are held at various times. Donations of raffle items are always welcome.

Vendor Program–Vendors have an opportunity to book a table in our front lobby to sell their wares. Contact us at 905-878-2383 Ext. 7709.
